Take That announce Dublin and Belfast dates as part of new 24-date tour

The new threesome that is Take That have just announced a 24-date tour of eight cities for April next year.

Four years after their last record-breaking tour, Progress Live, Mark Owen, Gary Barlow and Howard Donald will hit the road again.

They will play the Odyssey Arena in Belfast on May 4 and 5 and the 3Arena Dublin on Friday May 8 and Saturday 9.

Their new album ‘III’ will be their seventh studio album and will release on December 1 whilst the single, their first as a threesome, These Days, releases on November 23.

"We've always been very proud of our live shows and are very excited to be touring again next year.," a statement from the band reads.

"Playing live is something we love the most about what we do and we're looking forward to putting on the most amazing show we can.

"It will have been four years since our last tour so we're really keen to get back out on the road to play some of our biggest songs from the last twenty years alongside our new ones. We hope to see you there!"

Special Guest for the duration of the tour will be rising star Ella Henderson who recently celebrated both her debut single, ‘Glow’ and her first album, 'Chapter One', reaching the No.1 spot in the UK Charts.

Fans first heard the news of the new tour on Saturday night at 9.15pm via a TV Ad broadcast on ITV1 during the X Factor.  Tickets go on sale on Thursday 13th November at 9am

Take That have had eight Number One albums, 15 Number One singles, sold over 30 million albums, won six Ivor Novellos, eight BRITs and sold over seven million concert tickets.
