Irish singer Luan Parle is to run the Dingle marathon tomorrow at 9am.

Luan is running the marathon in association with Today FM in order to raise funds for ‘The Manuela Riedo Foundation’.

The Meteor award winning singer has been training for the marathon for five weeks and documenting her progress on her website, including working with personal trainer Suzanne Tyrell and eleven-time marathon runner Billy Porter.

The full marathon covers twenty-six miles around the spectacular Dingle peninsula in Co. Kerry. Prizes will be awarded for first, second and third place for male and female runners in the half and full marathon.

The marathon is the latest in Luan's charity efforts, following a modelling show for the Jack & Jill foundation and a skydive for The Irish Cancer Society and Autism Assistance Dogs Ireland.

Luan is the Irish face of Richmond Guitars.
