A member of disbanded pop group S Club 7 is cashing in on 90s/noughties nostalgia by flogging his Brit Award on eBay.

Paul Cattermole (40), who had huge success with Simon Fuller's group, from it's inception in 1998 to 2002, is selling his Best British Newcomer Award from 2000.

Bid had already reached more than £60,655 at the time of writing.  He could stand to make much more, however, as Abz from fellow noughties group 5ive sold his for a cool £1m.

"Here is the 2000 Brit Award for Best Newcomer Presented To Paul Cattermole from S Club 7," reads the description.

"Statuette of Britannia 13 1/4" in height, it hasn’t been professionally polished, there are smudges that won’t come out without a pro polish.

‘There are signs of age . Where the arms meet the shoulders at the back, and where the neck and chest blend into the top of the dress. An indentation on the inside of the helmet. That is a casting bubble and has always been there. *See photos*

"Letter of provenance will be provided , message for postage / meet and greet details . ‘Paul can meet you and greet you and take photos, distance depending :-)"

Interest may well be spurred by the fact that three of the former seven have reformed as S Club 3 - Jo O'Meara, Tina Barrett and Bradley McIntosh have released Family, the band's first new single in 14 years.
