One Direction to present at Billboard Music Awards in first awards show appearance without Zayn
This will be a month of major firsts for One Direction following the departure of group member Zayn Malik in March.
The boyband is lined up to make their first awards show appearance as a foursome at the Billboard Music Awards on May 17.
US Weekly report that Liam, Louis, Harry, and Niall will present an award at the bash which will be hosted by Chrissy Teigen and Ludacris.
Avid Directioners and Zayn fans are likely to find the event tough viewing asthe boys take to the stage at the MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas.
It will be particularly galling as it comes just three days after their first TV show appearance without Zayn on The Late Late Show with James Corden.
Zayn and Louis are both smarting from a Twitter spat earlier this week after producer Naughty Boy, who is working with Zayn on solo material, posted a photo to Twitter of himself with the ex-Direction member.
Louis and Naughty Boy engaged in a public war of words before Zayn weighed in and the latest news is that Harry Styles is not best pleased with the turn of events.
Zayn quit One Direction in March citing his desire to live life like a "normal 22-year-old" and although the other four admitted they were "gutted" they decided to continue as a foursome.
It is not yet known whether or not he will attend the Billboard Music Awards.
