Noel Gallagher has, in his own inimitable way, taken a pot shot at former One Direction member Zayn Malik, who quit the band earlier this year.
Speaking to Rolling Stone, the High Flying Birds frontman admitted he had never met Zayn (although he had met Harry - a "good lad").
"For Zayn, though, I'd say, "Fuckin' get a good accountant because life is very fuckin' long." he told the magazine.
Of Zane leaving such a successful band he said it was a "strange thing" for him to have done at the tender age of 22.
At the time Zayn was quoted as saying he just wanted "to be a normal 22-year-old", a quote Noel found particularly hilarious.
"Pfft. Who wants to be a normal 22-year-old?!" he laughed. "Hang on a minute. You can be fucking anything that moves and gettin' paid half a million dollars a week, you fuckin' idiot. You want to be a normal 22-year-old?
"Have you met any normal 22-year-olds? They're fuckin' shit-for-brains. What are you talking about, you fuckin' idiot?
"God. All those young Japanese girls suckin' me cock. So shallow and meaningless. I'll say this to you, Zayn: You might have wanted to be a normal 22-year-old, but you won't want to be a normal 25-year-old!"
The Rolling Stone interview also covered U2's upcoming Innocence and Experience tour, and although Noel said he doesn't "give a fuck" about stage shows, he added that U2 have to keep upping their game and "it's great for us as fans because you're getting to see something different every night."
One Direction will make their first TV appearance without Zayn on The Late Late Show with James Corden on May 14.
