Fans have been waiting for news of a Girls Aloud reunion since they split in 2014.

However, it's looking increasingly unlikely as Nadine Coyle has announced a tour in which she will perform the band's greatest hits solo.

Nadine (32) released a new solo single, Go To Work, last year and has now announced the released ofa new 4 track EP and a headline show at Dublin's Olympia Theatre.

She'll release the EP in April with the first track, Girls on Fire, dropping on Thursday.  She'll play the Olympia on May 19 as part of a UK and Ireland tour which kicks off on May 10.

The band racked up 21 UK Top Ten singles and the press release for her show claims she was "The Voice" of the band.

"Often demoing the songs with Brian [Higgins] ahead of the other girls during the band's tenure, it's always been any discerning pop fan's dream for the pair to collaborate again on Coyle's solo material," it reads.

Nadine released her daebut solo album INsatiable in 2010.
