Move over Beyonce, Patrick Bergin is also 'Crazy in Love' - Eastenders star releases new single
He's currently causing havoc in Albert Square as Eastenders' latest villain, Aidan Maguire, but Irish actor Patrick Bergin is also a talented musician.
He has just released a new single, Crazy in Love, which is not a cover of Beyonce's hit but a beautiful bluesy ballad.
While he's best known for big and small screen roles from Sleeping with the Enemy, opposite Julia Roberts, to TV3's Red Rock, he says, "whilst acting is my job, music is my passion".
Crazy in Love is the first in a number of releases he has scheduled for this year and once he has wrapped on Eastenders he will be touring to promote his music.
He previously had a hit with his song The Knacker in 2003, but later apologised after it was blasted by the Irish Traveller Movement.
However, he told Ryan Tubridy in 2008 that he was attempting to "reclaim" the word for them and said that anyone using it in a "derogatory sense" should be "pulled up on it".
