Marlay Park Concerts: Important transportation, weather & traffic delay warning issued
MCD Productions have advised individuals attending tonight's Kings of Leon concert in Marlay Park to "plan in advance".
Punters should expect rain & bring suitable rain gear (no umbrellas are permitted).
As traffic delays are expected, concert goers should allow an extra 2 hours travel time.
There is very limited parking at the venue so public transport is the best option.
Marathon Bus Travel
Marathon Return Shuttle Bus departures from city to the event are now Sold Out until 18:00.
Extra buses have been added for 18:30 and 19:00 departures.
Limited number of bus tickets (€10 return) are available for sale on a first come first serve basis.
Dublin Bus Travel
The following routes serve the Grange Road entrances of Marlay Park in close proximity to the concert site: 16, 116, 161.
The following routes serve Ballinteer Shopping Centre approx. 15 minutes walk to the concert site: 14, 75.
The closest Luas stations, Ballaly and Dundrum, are approx. a 30 minute walk to the concert site.
A taxi pick up service will be facilitated on Stonemason’s Way, at the junction of Grange Rd.
There is very little car parking at the venue. Car parks will open at 16.00.
Entrance to car-parks is off College Road.
Do not park illegally as towing is in operation.

No unaccompanied under 16’s are allowed on site. Under 16’s must be accompanied by an adult over 18.
You may be asked to prove your age with photo ID or you will be refused admission.
Acceptable forms of proof are: Passport, Garda Age Card, Driving-Licence and PASS cards.
