LISTEN: Dublin singer Ray Heffernan pens tribute to Stardust victims on 35th anniversary
A Dublin singer/songwriter has penned a tribute to the victims of the Stardust tragedy.
Valentine's Day marks the 35th anniversary of the 1981 nightclub disaster in which 48 young people lost their lives.
Ray Heffernan's song 'Stardust' is a love song and a lament to the budding love stories lost that Valentine's night.
Each year, several family members of the victims reach out to Ray as the anniversary approaches.
The singer currently lives in Italy and has worked with names including Robbie Williams, Wallis Bird and Declan O'Rourke.
