One of Amy Huberman's favourite bands, The Riptide Movement, is singing for joy after being chosen for the Eurosonic festival in the Netherlands.

The four-piece Dublin band (pictured) are continuing to go from strength to strength as they enjoy the success of their third album, Getting Through, which scored a No 1 in the Irish Charts.

Featuring the hit song 'All Works Out', which starred Amy in the video, they have now been chosen by RTE's 2fm for the monster music event which takes place next January.

Described as the biggest hunting ground in Europe for fresh musical talent, the big names who have been discovered at the event down through the years include Kodaline, Hozier and George Ezra.

A spokesperson for the chart-topping band said they were "delighted" to be heading over to the event in three months time.

"Having played Glastonbury, Bennicassim and Electric Picnic, Eurosonic is one of those festivals that we've always wanted to play. Bring it on, we can't wait!"
