Girls Aloud's Sarah Harding announces debut solo single 'Threads'
Sarah Harding will finally release her debut solo single in August.
While the Girls Aloud star has been talking about a solo album since 2012, but the single 'Threads', releasing on August 7, will be her first solo effort.
The 33-year-old singer is the last of the five members of Girls Aloud to release music on her own.
She'll no doubt be hoping to emulate the most successful - Cheryl Fernandez Versini - who has bagged five UK number ones, and not, perhaps, Nadine Coyle whose Insatiable album flopped.
Nicole Roberts has had mediocre success - her 2011 EP Cinderella's Eyes hit number 17 in the charts while Kimberley Walsh's musical theatre covers reached number 18 in 2013.
Sarah has recently also branched out into acting, landing herself a plum role on Coronation Street.
She filmed four episodes as Jodi Preston, the second wife of Tracey Barlow's ex-husband Robert Preston.
