Fleet Foxes are the first band to be announced for the Live at Iveagh Gardens series in Dublin.

The alt-folk band will play the Iveagh Gardens on Wednesday, July 14, 2017.

Fleet Foxes recently released some teaser details about their upcoming third album on social media after taking an unofficial hiatus from music.

Sadly it seems the new album and tour won’t feature former drummer Father John Misty, after lead singer Robin Peckhold told NME that their relationship with Josh Tillman had "fully deteriorated".

“Sadly, my relationship with Josh was fully deteriorated by that point,” he said.

“We had really gone separate roads by 2010 but remained in the project together to honor our recording and touring commitments and to not let any fans down who might be coming to our shows. I wish that things had gone differently. Making sure everyone involved is feeling good and that relations are strong is a big priority for me now.

Since the release of their critically acclaimed second album, Helpless Blues, the band have become one of the most lauded acts of recent years.
