Promoters MCD have issued a public information notice ahead of Phil Collins' concert at the Aviva Stadium on Sunday, June 25, so here's the lowdown on security, access, transport and times.

Gates open at 5:30pm, with Mike & The Mechanics taking to the stage at 6pm, Blondie at 7:20pm and Phil Collins at 8:50pm.

TRANSPORT

Allow at least two hours travel time to and from the venue.

As travel and parking delays are inevitable, you are strongly advised to use public transport (bus, Dart or Luas).

There are no parking services available locally.

Please use city centre car parks and car pool.

YOUR SAFETY

Do not bring backpacks or large handbags.

This is an outdoor event and the concert will take place rain or shine. Check weather conditions and dress appropriately. No umbrellas.

Under 16s must be accompanied by a parent/guardian 18 years or over.

Strict security checks will be in operation.

Glass or cans, umbrellas, alcohol, garden furniture, selfie sticks, flares will not be permitted. See mcd.ie for full list. No professional cameras or cameras with a detachable lens, video camera and audio recording devices, iPads or Go-Pros.

Don't rush to exits after the concert.

Smoking is strictly prohibited within the stadium.

ACCESS TO THE STADIUM ON CONCERT DAY IS AS FOLLOWS:

Blue ticket entry: Enter via Podium Entrance off Shelbourne Road.

Orange ticket entry: Enter via Landsdowne Lane.

Green ticket entry: Entra via Landsdowne Road.

Purple ticket entry: Enter via Herbert Road.

Red route ticket entry: Enter via Bath Avenue.

Strict traffic cordons will be in place two hours before the event.
