The support acts for Ed Sheeran's highly anticipated Croke Park gigs in July have been announced.

Dublin band Bell X1 will play support to the BRIT award winner on both Friday Juy and Saturday July 25 while Gavin James will play support on Friday and Jamie Lawson on Saturday.

The sold out gigs promise to be the events of the summer.

Bell X1 are currently working on their 7th studio album, which they hope to release early next year.  Frontman Paul Noonan has also been busy with Printer Clips (with Lisa Hannigan, Gemma Hayes and Martha Wainwright) and Dave Geraghty has been touring his Join Me In the Pines project.

Gavin James, meanwhile, has just signed to Capitol Records in America and Sony in Europe and is currently writing and recording his debut studio album.

Already selling out shows across Europe and back home in Dublin, Gavin embarks on a U.S. tour in April 2015, opening for Kodaline. He just made his US TV performance debut on the No.1 hit TV show Dancing With The Stars.

His momentum and fan base is continuing to grow and he’s being championed by Ed Sheeran who has invited him to play at his Croke Park concert on 24th July.

Jamie Lawson's reputation as an artist and a writer has soared in the last year and he is the first signing to Ed Sheeran’s newly launched label Gingerbread.

Jamie is currently on tour supporting Ed in Australia & New Zealand where he is also No 1 on the iTunes singer songwriter charts with "I Wasn't Expecting That" which was also a No 1 single in Ireland for Jamie.
