Dua Lipa has announced a second show at Dublin's Olympia Theatre after the first sold out in minutes.

The April 10 show is now sold out but she'll play a second date the previous evening on April 9.

Her latest single, New Rules, sits at number one in the Irish Singles Charts for the fifth consecutive week and her self-titled album has been in the Top 10 of the album charts for the last six weeks.

She describes the track as, "the breakup song I wish I had when I was breaking up with someone. I think it’s something everyone can relate to.”

The video, which explores the bond between friends when one is going through a break up, has amassed a whopping 300m views since going live two months ago.

Dua Lipa previously worked with director Henry Scholfield on the Lost In Your Light Video.  She says, “I’ve worked with Henry before and he does really cool work with choreography. He just has such brilliant ideas.”

Tickets for the second Olympia show on April 9 are €26.40 and on sale now.
