Clean Bandit announce Belfast and Dublin dates on headline tour

Cambridge Quartet Clean Bandit rocked the Heineken Electric Arena at Electric Picnic this year and now the band has announced two Irish dates as part of their world tour.

They will play The Academy, Dublin on March 6 and Mandela Hall, Belfast the previous evening, March 5.

Formed in 2009, the band rose to prominence and a world wide audience thanks to their single 'Rather Be', featuring guest vocals from Jess Glynn.

Combining a classical violin sample and infectious electro beat, the song became the UK's fastest selling track since 1996.

It has also amassed an incredible 115 million views on YouTube.

Now they have released their new single 'Real Love' (check out the video above, and our interview with them from Electric Picnic at top) and the album New Eyes: Special Edition is out on November 24.

The band's world tour takes in gigs in America, Canada and Europe in September alone.  Tickets for the Academy date are €19.90 incl. booking fee.
