Brave cancer survivor and One Direction fan Molly set to meet Niall Horan tonight
The mother of a brave young cancer survivor - who is due to meet Niall Horan tonight -has told of her fears after One Direction cancelled a concert at the last minute.
Lisa Taylor's nine-year-old daughter Molly was diagnosed with a brain tumour on March 31, 2014, but she was recently given the all clear.
Throughout her illness the only thing that kept her going was a dream of meeting her boyband hero Niall.
But Mrs Taylor (36) said she was "nervous" after the popular four-piece called off Tuesday night's gig at the eleventh-hour after singer Liam Payne fell ill.
"Molly knows nothing about the concert being cancelled because she can't cope with change," she said. "If she thought there was something wrong she would be devastated.
"I'm sure any normal wee girl would be the same, but it affects Molly differently.
"I didn't sleep last night because I was so worried about it and I'm just relieved that everything seems to be back on."
The mother-of-three added: "It's Molly's 10th birthday on Monday so meeting Niall will be very special for her."
There was chaos, tears and massive disappointment for thousands of fans on Tuesday night when One Direction suddenly cancelled their concert.
