Hozier, real name Andrew Byrne, has been catapulted to world wide fame since the YouTube release of his debut track ‘Take Me To Church’.
The artist (24) who hails from Co Wicklow, describes himself as a “singer-songwriter and producer, influenced by folk blues, soul, and gospel.”
The Grammy nominated star was recently profiled on Forbes.com as one of their “30 under 30”.
He told the outlet that he knew he wanted to be a musician from the age of 12, and “determination” is the attribute that has earned him such stratospheric success.
“In 2015, I will continue touring, studio time will be scarce but would love the possibility of finishing/releasing more music,” he stated.
Hozier will appear on The Graham Norton Show on BBC this Friday evening.
