Anderson .Paak and The Free Nationals announce Dublin concert

Anderson .Paak & The Free Nationals will appear at The Academy, Dublin, on Sunday 30 April for a special live PA after his appearance at the 3Arena that night with Bruno Mars.

This is a short (three songs) set including DJ set.

Anderson .Paak released one of the albums of the year in January 2016 with his second studio album Malibu. He also appeared as a frequent collaborator on Dr. Dre's 2015 album Compton.

The West Coast rapper bagged a Pitchfork Best New Music award, comparisons to Kendrick Lamar’s To Pimp A Butterfly, two Grammy nominations, praise from the New York Times, Spin and the Wall Street Journal shortly after Malibu's release.

.Paak performed a stripped-down service with The Free Nationals for NPR's Tiny Desk Concert, which you can view above to tease your taste for the Academy's performance.

Tickets priced €26, including booking fee, go on sale Thursday, March 16 at 10am.
