JEDWARD'S Eurovision single was last night rocketing up music charts across Europe.

'Lipstick', written by Dan Priddy, Lars Jensen and Martin Larson, went to No 1 on iTunes in Ireland, Sweden, Germany and Austria yesterday.

The catchy song also entered the Top 30 Chart in the UK at No 23 and reached No 12 in Finland.

Meanwhile, RTE viewing figures for Saturday night's song contest showed it was the most popular in 15 years. The entire show was watched by some 1,174,300 viewers. The numbers jumped to 1,456,360 later in the evening as people tuned in to watch the voting.

Jedward -- John and Edward Grimes -- were delighted with the attention.

"Being No 1 in Sweden is just mental; the whole of Europe is going Jedcrazy," said Edward.
