Miley Cyrus sings on a new album of Bob Dylan covers in aid of Amnesty International

Miley Cyrus is among the artists featured on a new collection of Bob Dylan cover songs to be released in aid of Amnesty International.

The human rights organisation said that all of the songs on the 4-CD collection will be new or previously unreleased versions, with the exception of Dylan's title cut, Chimes of Freedom.

Participating artists range from 19-year-old Miley Cyrus to . Miley, 19 has recorded You're Gonna Make Me Lonesome When You Go, while 92-year-old folk legend Pete Seeger has covered Forever Young, with a children's choir singing on the chorus.

The disc, to be released in the US on January 24, is being produced by the same music executives who made a 2007 benefit album for Darfur featuring John Lennon songs.
