McBusted have revealed they have signed a record deal and will be releasing a new album.
Former Busted members James Bourne and Matt Willis teamed up with McFly's Tom Fletcher, Danny Jones, Harry Judd and Dougie Poynter this summer - and after their sell-out tour proved a hit, they've decided to continue the partnership.
According to the Daily Mirror the super group have been signed by Island Records following a bidding war with Sony Music.
Drummer Harry Judd said: "We were worried. But as time went on we realised it felt more than just a one-off thing.
"On the first night everyone came off stage and was like, 'Holy s***, that was such fun'."
Songwriter Tom Fletcher added: "It never felt like the four of us in McFly and Matt and James. It just felt like a new thing."
McBusted have also just announced they will release their first single, Air Guitar, on November 23.
Tom revealed he started writing the song, and thought: "I was like, how has this song never been written before?"
He then brought the bones of the song to the rest of the band - and they all loved it.
Matt confessed: "It's such a brilliant idea for a song - I was furious when Tom came up with it, obviously. I love it."
