MADONNA was loudly booed and jeered by an audience in France after she finished her concert after just 45 minutes on stage.

The singer, who played Dublin’s Aviva stadium earlier this week, was in Paris on the latest stop of her MDNA world tour.

The concert was performed in a smaller venue than usual and being streamed on the web, so the singer did not perform her full arena show - the reason for the shortened show.

Fan-filmed video footage of the aftermath of the show features audience members throwing empty bottles and plastic cups onto the stage. They were also heard shouting “Rembourssez! Rembourssez!” ( French for “We want our money back!”).

Some members of the audience were also chanting the French word for “sl*t”, angry at the length of the show - Audience members had paid between €80 and €280 for tickets to the concert.

It is the second controversy attached to the show in France – her earlier tour performance in the country saw a lawsuit filed by the National front party after the singer used an image of their party leader Marine Le Pen with a swastika superimposed on her head.
