Lady Gaga has been crowned the queen of UK radio after she was named the most played artist over the past 12 months.
Airplay monitoring body Nielsen Music said she is the performer who has featured most on radio with 275,000 plays.
The award is being announced on Tuesday night at the annual Radio Festival in Salford Quays, Manchester, during the PRS for Music Hall of Fame Dinner.
Last year the title went to Take That, and it is not restricted to any particular song.
Lady Gaga's most aired track during the year to September was Bad Romance.
Helena Kosinski, the international marketing manager for Nielsen Music, said: "Lady Gaga has had phenomenal success during 2010, ratcheting up an enormous number of radio plays in the last year."
