Katherine's fly-swallowing hazard
Katherine Jenkins has revealed the biggest peril of performing at open-air concerts - swallowing flies.
The mezzo-soprano is due to perform outdoors at the Wakehurst Place Musical Festival with the National Symphony Orchestra in June - and is already dreading becoming a landing zone for swarming insects.
Katherine told The Daily Mail: "They swarm to the lights, and sometimes when I sing, I swallow them - I am often halfway through a note and then I swallow something and have to cough."
She added: "It's one of those things you face as a singer. It's happened at least ten times."
The 29-year-old Welsh beauty has recently completed a tour of Europe.
