Given that pop princess Jodi Albert is married to Westlife singer Kian Egan, a duet always seemed inevitable at some stage.
But the 30-year-old former Hollyoaks beauty has revealed how she always steered clear of teaming up with her hubbie as she thought it would be a "cheese fest".
Westlife's Kian (33) is on a whirlwind publicity blitz at the moment in the wake of releasing his debut solo album Home.
As well as boasting some American power ballads, it also has a cover of Lady Antebellum's I Run To You, which sees him duetting with his stunning wife.
"Every time we were asked about a duet, we both said 'no' immediately because we felt it would be too cheesy," Jodi said.
"We'd never planned to perform together on the album because all I would think about was being slated for a cheese fest."
"But then three days before the album was due to be finished, Kian came home and played me this amazing song. He pleaded with me and I fell in love with the track."
Jodi was recently on ITV's The Big Reunion with her first band Girl Thing. Yet while she said it was a good show to be part off, she described it as a "one-off" and added she would love to return to acting.
