JLS star Oritse Williams has said that the band would be happy to join the X Factor line-up as mentors this year.
Speaking on the Wembley Arena red carpet at the National Movie Awards, where the singers were greeted by screaming fans, he said: "We've had a word with Louis (Walsh) and we said, 'Louis, look, if you need some mentors, we'll be there.'
"So lets see what happens."
There are currently empty spaces on the judging panel following the departure of Cheryl Cole and Simon Cowell for the US version of the show.
His bandmate Aston Merrygold said of the Girls Aloud star's stateside role: "She's flying the British flag right now.
"She was on the English X Factor first and what she did here, and what she brought here, was incredible.
"Great personality, beautiful smile, great charisma and I think to take that over to the US right now is going to be great for this country, let alone for the US as well."
