Jessie J has revealed she is taking time out to recover after undergoing surgery for an undisclosed condition.
The 27-year-old singer shared a video on social media of herself lying in her hospital bed after the operation.
She wrote: "I don't often share personal stuff (especially about my health) anymore, I just get on with it secretly. But I wanted to share with you before someone else might and it gets twisted and exaggerated into something different or worse.
"Just know I am OK. I had an operation yesterday so need to rest. I won't be saying what for. It's personal. I just wanted to explain to my fans why I may go awol for a minute."
The Domino singer was diagnosed with Wolff-Parkinson-White syndrome as a child, a heart condition which causes an irregular heartbeat and can leave her feeling dizzy and short of breath.
She previously suffered a stroke as a result of the condition when she was just 18.
She pulled out of an Australian tour earlier this year as doctors were concerned about the strain put on her heart by singing high-pitched tracks, such as her hit Laserlight.
The former Voice judge was left wheelchair-bound in 2011 by a serious foot injury after she fell off the stage rehearsing for a concert.
She revealed in 2013: "I've had a bone transplant, a fusion, a metal plate and four bolts put into my foot. That accident almost cost me the ability to walk!"
The star has a number of live performances coming up in July, including Wireless Festival, The Henley Festival and shows in Belgium and Denmark.
