Jessie J's hoping for big things this year but she feels she has already "made my point".
The Price Tag songstress, whose real name is Jessica Cornish, has enjoyed chart success with debut album Who You Are and scooped a brace of gongs, and had as a stint as Tulisa Contostavlos' guest mentor on The X Factor.
Yet the 23-year-old said on the red carpet at the Brits 2012 nominations: "I don't ever feel like I've done enough. I feel like every year, there's more for you to learn and grow and challenge yourself, but I definitely feel like I've made my point.
"Last year, not many people had heard of my music so I felt like I had a point to prove to the fans. Everyone was like, 'Who's this girl?' This year has been amazing and I'm very ready to make some amazing moments in 2012."
Jessie - who won the Brit Critics' Choice award last year - has received three nominations including British Female Solo Artist, British Breakthrough Act and British Single.
"Being nominated for the Brits for the first time is an amazing feeling. I remember being here last year and not knowing what the next 12 months would hold. I feel like I can stand here today, and have an understanding of what I want to achieve and what it's going to be like," she said.
