Pop singer Robbie Williams has revealed he was on hallucinogenic mushrooms when he visited U2 frontman Bono's home.

The 'Rock DJ' singer was in Dublin to announce details of his 'Heavy Entertainment' tour. He will play the Aviva Stadium on June 17.

Williams has performed in Ireland several times over the years and spoke of his most memorable visits.

He told the crowd he had visited Bono's house during his "psychedelic phase". "And by that I mean mushrooms," he said.

Williams recalled becoming mesmerised by a painting in Bono's home. He complimented the singer on the art work, to which Bono replied, "Robbie, that's the window."
