Marvin Humes has revealed that emotions will be high and tears will be shed as JLS say their final farewell this December.

The boy band - Marvin, Jonathan 'JB' Gill, Aston Merrygold and Oritse Williams - will hit the road as a foursome for the last time. The JLS Goodbye: The Greatest Hits 17-date arena tour will kick off in Nottingham on December 4 and come to a close at London's O2 Arena on December 22.

"There will be tears. I don't know who will be the most emotional but there probably won't be a dry eye in the house that night," the 28-year-old said.

"This year is a bit of a celebration for us. The last seven years have been the best years of our lives - we have seen and experienced the most remarkable things. But it's also a sad time, it will be emotional but we will go out on a high.

"The first audition we ever did was at the O2 Arena at The X Factor and now we're finishing off our career there, which will be a fantastic achievement for us to come full circle."

The boys will be immortalised on screen for a final time, with a DVD recording the group's farewell tour.

Marvin, who is dad to baby daughter Alaia-Mai with Saturdays singer Rochelle, continued: "It's going to be fantastic. They are shooting it on December 2 and it will be available in shops on December 9 - it's the fastest turn-around of a concert DVD.

"There will be lots of behind-the-scenes stuff, the whole concert and lots of unseen footage of us that the fans will love. It's the last DVD we will release so we have to make sure it's the best."

Tickets are on sale now at www.gigsandtours.com and www.ticketmaster.co.uk.
