Houston gig cancelled over illness
Whitney Houston has had to briefly postpone her European tour due to illness.
The singer had been due to kick off in Paris this week.
But a statement released by her representative said an upper respiratory infection is forcing Whitney to bow out of that show on doctors' orders.
The statement said the singer "deeply regrets having been forced to postpone the show". The tour will start in Manchester on Thursday. She plans to make up the Paris date.
This is the latest problem for Whitney on her world tour for her platinum comeback album, I Look To You.
Some earlier performances were negatively received by fans and the media, leading to concerns about her health. But Whitney has said she is in "great shape".
