Hip young gunslingers the hottest new talent at longitude
Cork duo Young Wonder are one of the most exciting new Irish acts on the block. Ian Ring and Rachel Koeman have become something of viral sensation on YouTube with the swoonsome pop-electronica of To You and Orange, gaining over 100,000 hits.
This mysterious musician from Newbridge, Co Kildare, might only be 19, but he's already played South By South West and opened for The xx at the Brixton Academy. Jack Colleran, aka MMOTHS, has only released two EPs, but was snapped up by prestigious LA-based SQE music and championed by Annie Mac on BBC Radio One.
This unspeakably hip new English trio actually formed at Nottingham University, rather than London. Even though they've only played about a dozen or so gigs, they've racked up over a million online plays and have collaborated with hot shot chart-topping production duo Disclosure.
WHITE COLLAR BOY
Fellow Dubliners Gavin White and Mark Cummins didn't actually meet here, but at Barcelona's Primavera Sound festival in 2011. They've since formed a beguiling garage electronica duo and follow up their very well received Kinsale EP with another release at the end of July. White Collar Boy also have a monthly residency in Pygmalion on South William Street.
