Chart star Ellie Goulding will perform in front of Barack Obama at the National Christmas Tree lighting ceremony in the US today.
The UK singer - who earlier this year performed at the wedding reception of Prince William and Kate Middleton - will join the Black Eyed Peas and Kermit the Frog at the ceremony in Washington DC today.
Goulding, 24, performed at the American Music Awards earlier this month.
She rose to prominence after winning the Critics Choice award at the Brits in 2010, shortly after topping the BBC's Sound of 2010 poll.
She went on to have a number two hit with a cover of Sir Elton John's Your Song, after it was featured in a TV ad.
The Christmas tree ceremony takes place near the White House with the president officially lighting the tree.
TV host Carson Daly will host the ceremony and other performers will include Big Time Rush and OneRepublic.
