Girls Aloud may be marking their 10th anniversary with a concert during London's 2012 Olympics, it's been reported.

Cheryl Cole, Sarah Harding, Nicola Roberts, Kimberley Walsh and Nadine Coyle are apparently in talks to appear at a landmark gig at the O2 Arena, the Sun reports.

Coldplay and The Rolling Stones have also been mooted as acts on the bill.

A source said: "The girls are getting very excited. The promoters are only looking to book massive, show-stopping acts, which they would be perfect for."

Although Cheryl has been lined up to appear as a judge on the US version of The X Factor, even she would like to play the Olympics gig, reportedly, because it will be after her judging duties are over.
