To say Guns N' Roses' last outing in Dublin was a disaster would be an understatement.
Beginning 45 minutes late, the band were pelted with plastic cups and stormed off after five songs.
And last night at the O2, a noticeably scaled-down crowd suggested that all might not yet be forgiven.
If the band were looking for forgiveness though, they weren't obvious about it -- it was 10.25 by the time Axl Rose and co emerged.
This time though, the crowd, though restless, was quickly won over with 'Welcome to the Jungle'.
And Axl has picked up one local trait: rather than apologise, he merely says nothing in the hope the issue will disappear.
Perhaps he's better at reading audiences than we gave him credit for.
