Duncan James says Blue will get back together - as soon as they can co-ordinate their diaries.

The boyband - Duncan, Lee Ryan, Simon Webbe and Anthony Costa - split in 2005, and reunited to tour in 2009 although they have since gone their separate ways again.

Duncan claimed he was still holding out for an official reunion, saying: "Hopefully Blue will get back together again, there's talks of getting back to do something."

The singer, who presents forthcoming quiz show Scream If You Know The Answer, added: "We went to New York actually last year and recorded some tracks which sounded fantastic but again it's trying to tee up all four of our diaries.

"Lee's got a solo single coming out, Simon's in LA working on something and Anthony's doing a musical, we're all just trying to fit in together. If it works, if it comes back round I think we're all up for it but we'll have to wait and see."

Duncan said a proper reunion would be good for the band and for fans because they never officially split.

"We just stopped, there was no conclusion, we never said we were splitting up we just said we were having a break and we never came back from it," he said.

:: Scream If You Know The Answer, which puts celebrities to the test while riding Thorpe Park's scariest rides, begins on Watch on May 2.
