Dermot O'Leary is already eyeing up a follow-up to an album released in conjunction with his Radio 2 show.

The X Factor host chose his favourite tracks for Dermot O'Leary Presents The Saturday Sessions, and would like to do it all over again for another record.

"Oh God, I hope so - it's just a bit of fun for me and something a lot of people want, from listening our show, and we've just had so many good sessions over the last couple of years," he said.

The album includes covers by Lily Allen, who does her own rendition of Britney Spears' Womanizer, Athlete with La Roux's Bulletproof and Biffy Clyro singing Cheryl Cole's Fight For This Love, as well as acoustic versions of hits by Bat For Lashes, Elbow and Mumford & Sons.

"Lily Allen doing Womanizer was brilliant, as was Athlete doing Bulletproof. It's those moments that you realise how good these songs are," said Dermot.

"Not that I don't love the original, but they are both heavily produced songs. So when someone strips it down and you hear the lyrics, you see how great the track is. I love it when people do their own stripped-back versions of songs."

The selection process includes coffee and lots of shouting, said the TV presenter.

"It's who can shout the loudest. It's really difficult. It's a good blend of what the show is about," he added.
