MARK KNIGHT

The Village, Wexford Street, Dublin, tonight (€22.90)

Mark Knight is a world-renowned producer and DJ, famed for his seven-hour sets everywhere from Miami to Ibiza. We're not sure how long he'd be able to push tonight, but Knight will play as long as the curfew will permit. KERRI CHANDLER Twisted Pepper, Middle Abbey Street, Dublin 1, tonight (€18/€20) Kerri Chandler grew up in New Jersey in a family of jazz musicians, but he's left his mark in the area of deep house. Chandler says of his background: "The only escape was drugs or music. I always picked the latter of the two."

IVAN SMAGGHE & JG WILKES Kennedy's, Westland Row, Dublin 2, tomorrow (€10/€15) French DJ and producer Ivan Smagghe presents another five hours back-to-back extravaganza with JG Wilkes from Glasgow's finest club night Optimo. The Sunday night social on Jamaica Street has since shut up shop, but continues to tour the world.

BOOKA SHADE The Button Factory, Curved Street, Temple Bar, Dublin 2, tomorrow (€22.50) German house duo Walter Merziger and Arno Kammermeier are veterans of the Frankfurthouse scene. After beginning life as a dance pop duo in the Underworld mould, they've evolved into one of the finest DJ duos.
