Charlotte Church showed off her new rock sound as she performed with her boyfriend Jonathan Powell's band at an intimate gig in Wales.
The 26-year-old former opera singer - who revealed a new blonde hair do - performed at How The Light Gets In at Hay Festival and also unveiled a new song inspired by media mogul Rupert Murdoch.
Charlotte settled for damages of up to £600,000 against Murdoch's newspaper group New International and gave evidence at the Leveson inquiry into the behaviour of the UK press.
At the gig, the former child star performed a song called Mr The News, telling the crowd: "This next song is for Rupert Murdoch." It included the lyric, "Something tells me you've hit the bottom".
Charlotte, who has two children, Ruby and Dexter, from her relationship with rugby player Gavin Henson, has been dating former public school boy and fellow musician Jonathan since 2010.
