Girls Aloud star Kimberley Walsh has hit out at Charlotte Church for making unflattering comments about the Queen.
The Welsh diva said in a recent magazine interview that the Queen was "an old woman and has no idea what's going on".
Charlotte, 24, had said she felt "sorry" for the Queen, and added: "I've met her about seven times and she never remembers me."
The Voice Of An Angel star has subsequently apologised for her comments, saying she was "foolish" and that she was "deeply sorry".
In her column in OK! magazine, singer Kimberley, 29, said: "I'm not a mad royalist, but that is disrespectful of someone she has met."
She added: "The Queen has had so much more life experience than her, so perhaps she should try and learn from her instead of criticising her."
Charlotte has also previously been critical of Girls Aloud, calling them "five dogs without balls" after Kimberley's bandmate Cheryl Cole accused her of copying their sound.
