Carly Rae Jepsen has tennis date
Carly Rae Jepsen has a prestigious tennis-related date to add to her diary.
The Call Me Maybe singer has been asked to perform at the Annual Arthur Ashe Kids' Day at this year's US Open.
The Canadian chart-topper will join other music stars The Wanted, Owl City and Cymphonique Miller, along with reigning men's champion Novak Djokovic, past women's champion Kim Clijsters and fellow player John Isner.
The event on August 25, held at the Billie Jean King National Tennis Centre in Flushing, New York, will feature performances as well as exhibition matches and other activities.
It will be the 17th annual Kids' Day. Last year, the event had to be cancelled because of Hurricane Irene.
The US Open, tennis' final Grand Slam of the year, begins on August 27.
