Bruno Mars has been added to the Brits line-up.

Organisers announced that the Locked Out Of Heaven singer, as well as Rudimental and Bastille, will be performing live at the bash in 2014.

Arctic Monkeys and Katy Perry have previously been announced to take to the stage at the Brit Awards, which take place at London's O2 Arena on February 19.

US star Bruno won best International Male Solo Artist in 2012.

British acts Rudimental and Bastille, who enjoyed success with their chart-topping debut albums this year, will perform at the Brits for the first time.

Rudimental said: "We are really looking forward to playing the Brits. We went to the event for the very first time this year when we were nominated for Best Single for Feel The Love. We didn't win but it was such an amazing night celebrating the best of British music.

"So to actually be a part of the event this time round is the icing on the cake after such an incredible year too. We are definitely going to bring the party vibe".

James Corden has been confirmed as host of the 2014 Brit Awards, but it will be his last stint as presenter.

Headwear guru Philip Treacy has been named as the designer of this year's Brit Awards trophies.

The event will be screened by ITV after the broadcaster renewed its deal for another three years.
