WESTLIFE may have called it a day but Britney Spears looks to be in no danger of giving up her pop career.

Having sold 70 million albums, the ultimate showgirl seemed intent on shifting a few more when she thrilled thousands of fans on the Dublin date of her 'Femme Fatale' tour in the 02 last night.

The mother of two may be 30, but she pulled out all the stops to provide a show-stopping spectacular.

The crowd was soon under the spell of the pop queen who arrived on stage just after 9pm, to dish out hit after hit, right back to her 1999 single 'Baby One More Time'.

Having survived meltdown and rehab, Spears's 'Femme Fatale' tour has been described as "part concert and part therapy".
