Britney Spears took to the Hollywood stage on Saturday night - not to perform, but to host.
The pop star guest hosted the star-studded Wango Tango music festival with American Idol presenter Ryan Seacrest, introducing performances by Jennifer Lopez, Ne-Yo, Ke$ha, Selena Gomez, Glee's Matthew Morrison and Far East Movement.
"Hello everybody! I love being here. I am so excited. It's been an amazing year for me and I couldn't be happier," she said on stage, according to OKmagazine.com.
Earlier, Britney sent the media room in a frenzy when she arrived in a red, geometric-print dress - it was her second red carpet appearance in a week, following the Beverly Hills fundraising bash for the St Bernard Project.
While the Circus songstress is saving her voice for her upcoming Femme Fatale tour, Jennifer wowed in a silver spider-web catsuit as she sang her new song On The Floor, but had to repeat for an encore following a microphone malfunction.
Shrugging off the glitch, she shouted: "We're not gonna let that get us down, are we? Nobody keeps mama down," before joking: "Somebody's getting fired tonight!"
The show, with LA radio station KIIS-FM, was held at the Staples Centre in Hollywood.
