Blind guitar hero plays with U2
A BLIND father of four became a guitar hero overnight when he got to perform on stage with U2.
Adam Bevell (36) from Mesa, Arizona, has become an internet sensation after being invited on stage to play with the Dublin rockers in Nashville on Saturday night.
Adam, who suffers from a progressive eye disease, began losing his sight at the age of 14, but the music of his favourite band, U2, helped get him through.
Bono asked him what he wanted to play and took his hand to lead him over to a guitar. The U2 frontman's guitar was strapped onto him and Adam chose to play his and his wife's wedding song, "All I Want Is You".
