Beyonce is set to reach number one in this weekend's album charts - knocking Lady Gaga off the top spot.

The US singer, who headlined at Glastonbury, is selling her album, 4, three times as fast as chart rivals according to the Official Chart Update.

Beyonce's single, Best Thing I Never Had, is on course to enter at sixth place.

Coldplay are also benefiting from their festival performance - Every Teardrop Is A Waterfall is expected to bounce back up from 42 last week to number seven in the Singles Chart Update.

Jason Derulo is on course for a second week at number one in the singles chart, with Don't Wanna Go Home.

The last time Beyonce had a number one album in the UK was Dangerously In Love, in 2003.

Lady Gaga shot to number one on the UK album chart last weekend with Born This Way.
