Beyoncé announces three nights in Dublin next March
The singer has announced she is to return to Dublin's O2 next March as part of her Mrs Carter tour.
The busy mum of one is hardly taking a break, having played here as part of the same tour in May this year.
The five week run will start in February next year and will take in the UK, Spain, Germany, Holland and Belgium.
Tickets for her three nights in Dublin, March 8th, 9th and 11th go on sale next Tuesday December 17th at 9 am.
The singer was last month named the best live act by MTV’s European Music Award.
The Mrs Carter Show World Tour – a reference to her equally lauded husband, hip-hop giant Shaun "Jay Z" Carter – is an audio-visual wonder that puts would-be rivals in the ha'penny place, according to John Meagher, the Irish Independent's music critic.
"There is an awesome light show, a series of lavish avant-garde videos, ballet dancers, break-dancers, an all-female backing band whose members include a brass section, actual fireworks and . . . the list goes on. And at the centre of it all, the Amazonian singer herself, whose slick dance moves impress in their own right."
