Iggy Azalea has revealed how she had to make last minute alterations to her outfit for the Sound Of Change concert, because she couldn't fit into it.

The Australian rapper opted for a red skater-style dress for the fund-raising gig at London's Twickenham Stadium, but had to make some alterations to the number.

"I ripped it off the hanger because I thought it would fit me the best, but I couldn't even get it up my arms. It was so small," admitted the 22-year-old.

"I asked the stylist, 'Are you sure this is made for adults? It's very little'. I had to cut out the lining so I could get into it. So they cut it up and it became so short. I didn't know what to do because I told them my booty was going to be flying out and he handed me a pair of sequinned shorts to wear underneath."

Iggy - whose real name is Amethyst Amelia Kelly - admitted the hot weather made the situation a bit awkward.

"The sun out there was so hot that I felt like I couldn't breathe. I was a bit sad that I only got to do two songs, but once I got out there, I thought I was lucky to do that because otherwise I might have passed out," she said.

Beyonce headlined the Sound Of Change concert, which raised 4.3 million US dollars (around £2.8 million) for fund causes to improve education, health and justice for women and girls worldwide. Other performers included Jennifer Lopez, John Legend, Timbaland, Jessie J and Rita Ora.

"Anything I can do to help women is always something I'm very interested in. There's not a lot of women in hip-hop and it makes you ponder on sexism, and it hit close to home for me," she said.
