Arterton in talks over Cobain film?
Gemma Arterton has reportedly been approached about starring in the forthcoming Kurt Cobain film.
The former Bond girl is in talks to star in All Apologies, the working title given to the film about the pre-fame Kurt and Courtney Love, according to GQ magazine.
The Tamara Drewe actress has also had talks about playing the role of Nicola Six in Michael Winterbottom's big screen adaptation of the Martin Amis novel London Fields.
She told the magazine that the role of the femme fatale in London Fields was "the coolest part ever".
Gemma, 24, has also been approached about playing a girl mixed up with the Mafia in the movie Corsica 72, which she describes as "the best script I've read", and a biopic of Marianne Faithfull is also on the cards.
Gemma said: "I feel so lucky. I always thought I'd be in period dramas playing downtrodden girls in love. I read so many scripts and they're all the same.
"Either the character is just someone to be in the background or they're there to help the man, to be the love interest, like I've done in Prince Of Persia or Clash Of The Titians.
"What I want to do is find characters who are the focus, like (London Fields) Nicola Six; sexy and real women, not perfect, not pin-ups."
